Newbie here. As i browsed upon in other forum the threads about engine performance problem, they would always advise to check all the vacuum first.

Since im not fully familiar with the 2.3-16v engine bay, may i ask a favor to all the gurus to please enumerate to us NEWBIE here all the locations of the vacuum in 16v so that we can familiarize ourselves.

Just only the vacuum system that affects engine performance such as idling problem, speed etc..

How many rubber vacuum hose attached to the intake manifold?

So far these are the vacuum that i know already...

1. vacuum hose from under throttle body to ICV

2. vacuum hose both side of ICV going to each intake manifold

3. vacuum hoser from between 3rd and 4th manifold T-connector one going inside the firewall where the economy vacuum guage is connected, there was a TEE connector there and maybe it goes to the aircon vent

another vacuum from this T-rubber conector from 3 and 4 intake manifold goes to the T-connection located inside the left fender, i dont know where it goes

so far these are only tha vacuum that i know already.

Please help us newbie here. Than you very much.
